I am a full time working mom. My husband works full time and coaches a local high school baseball team. We stay extremely busy and work hard to provide for our family.
I noticed a couple of years ago that I was starting to compare my family to other families, mostly on Facebook. They made me feel like an inadequate mom that wasn’t doing enough for anyone – including myself. It was pretty ridiculous. Then I talked to other moms and they said the same things.
That is when I decided to start writing this blog. Everyone puts filters on their lives now. They only post their highlight reels on social media. So I write about real life. I write about the good and the bad. The things that make being a parent so hard. I write about real life, and real life gets messy.
I love writing this blog! You can also find some of my pieces on Good Morning America, Her View From Home, Scary Mommy, HuffPost Parents, Motherly, PopSugar Moms and Today Parents.
